West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan said there were no labor demonstrations in the West Java region on Friday (1/5). The activity of conveying aspirations is only carried out by students in the Jatinagor, Sumedang, and West Java DPRD areas.
According to Rudi, the riots that occurred in the Jalan Tamansari area, Bandung, did not originate from labor groups. He said that the crowd involved was an unknown group dressed all in black and covering their faces.
“It turned out that in the afternoon towards evening there were 150 unknown mobs seen, with the characteristics of those dressed in black, covering their faces, of course covering their faces in an attempt to avoid the identities of those carrying the fuel being unknown,” said Rudi as reported by detikJabar, Saturday (2/5/2026).
He said the group was suspected of having prepared a riot. Rudi said this could be seen from the equipment they were carrying, including bottles containing fuel suspected of being Molotov cocktails, as well as other hard objects.
“Earlier we saw them doing watering and so on, carrying bottles filled with oil or fuel with wicks or in other words molotovs. Then other hard objects, because they had damaged traffic lights, traffic lights and other facilities, that was done by them,” he said.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
