Jerome Polin revealed the offer to be a government buzzer in the midst of chaos in a number of areas, one video paid Rp150 million

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Creator of content as well as public figure Jerome Polin claimed to have received an offer to become a government buzzer in the midst of a heated political situation.

Jerome shared the screenshots of the message sent to his management. In the message, an agency offers cooperation in the form of making Instagram Reels content with the theme “Indonesian Peace invitation” which will be published simultaneously on September 1, 2025 at 15.00 WIB.

The offer is called Rp150 million for one video. In the proposed conditions, creators are required to follow the direction of content, do not use other sounds other than those specified, use certain hashtags, and are prohibited from using negative words, pornography, or SARA issues.

Jerome stressed his rejection of the offer. He even expressed disappointment because according to him public money was used to pay the buzzer.

“People’s money is used to pay buzzers, per person 150 million. If used to increase teacher salaries, per person 10 million, can make 15 teachers live prosperous for a month,” Jerome wrote in his upload, Friday (29/8).

He also appealed to the agency and key opinion leader (KOL) to reject a similar offer. “Dear agency and cabbage, I beg for this time, don’t sacrifice the people for your own interests. Everything is difficult, we struggle together, yeah? Please,” he added.

Jerome stressed the importance of transparency in the use of tax money. He also invited the public not to be careless and continue to oversee the issue.
