“We are still carrying out investigative steps and are still looking for facts related to the death in question,” said Head of the Gowa Police Resmob Unit, Ipda Andi Muhammad Alfian, as reported by BetweenWednesday (20/5/2026).
Initially, the campus security guard and his colleagues found the victim lying face down in the parking lot of the Unhas Engineering Campus on Jalan Malino, Romang Lompoa, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi on Monday (18/5/2026) evening at around 20.00 WITA. Next, the security guard reported to the Bontomarannu Police and forwarded it to the Gowa Police.
Based on this news, officers went out to secure the crime scene (TKP) and installed a police line. The police are also looking for clues that might reveal the cause of the victim’s death.
At the crime scene, items identified as belonging to the victim were found based on information from his colleagues and family, such as a motorbike and glasses in the parking area as well as a blunt object. On the rooftop of the building, the victim’s bag was found containing a laptop, shoes and cellphone, identification and other valuables.
According to several colleagues and family members, after being found, the victim was immediately taken to the nearest hospital and declared dead.
The victim’s body was taken to the funeral home for burial
Regarding the allegation that the victim ended his life by jumping from the top of the Unhas Engineering Campus building, or there is an allegation of a criminal act of abuse leading to murder, said Alfian, his party has not been able to validate this.
“Obviously, we cannot conclude that the victim jumped or what, because currently investigations and investigations are still being carried out. We also don’t know what the results of the injuries are. We are still waiting for the post-mortem results from the forensic team,” he explained.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
