Indonesian national team began to prepare themselves to face the fourth round

FAJAR.CO.ID, JEDDAH – The Indonesian national team has begun preparation to face the fourth round of the 2026 Asian World Cup qualifiers.

During the main training session, there were already 15 players who joined the Training Center (TC).

Of the 15 players dominated by players who competed including players who played at the BRI Super League, namely 13 players.

As for other players with an abroad status, they are Ramadan Sananta (DPMM FC) and Ole Romeny (Oxford United).

Related to this, coach Patrick Kluivert claimed not to have a problem with players who were slow to join TC.

According to him this is already common, and these late players will immediately adjust and enter the system.

“I am very happy. The spirit shown by the players is very fantastic. The team’s spirit is very high,” Kluivert was quoted as saying by Antara.

“The exercise we did, the players did it very well. So I was very happy with the first training,” he said.

With this, there are 14 players who will follow in turn

According to him this is already common, and these late players will immediately adjust and enter the system.

“I think everyone knows how we work because we have also experienced the previous situation that the players came little by little, they came and they would go straight into the system, so I didn’t worry about the way they came,” he said.

As for the inaugural match of the Indonesian national team in the fourth round will face the host of Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, on Thursday (9/10/2025).
