Thousands of workers will crowd the front of the DPR RI building, Central Jakarta, this morning to convey their voices. They demand the elimination of outsourcing and the ratification of the Employment Law.
Head of Public Relations for the Central Jakarta Police, Inspector Erlyn Sumantri, said the action would start at 10.00 WIB, Thursday (16/4/2026). The action was carried out by the Central Leadership Council of the Federation of Indonesian Metal Workers Unions (DPP FSPMI), with a mass of around 2,000 people.
“Demand to eliminate outsourcing, reject cheap wages and enact the Employment Law in accordance with KSP-PB,” said Erlyn when confirmed.
Through the X @TMCPoldaMetro account, the police predict that there will be traffic congestion along Jalan Gatot Soebroto towards Slipi during the action. Motorists are advised to look for alternative routes.
“It is estimated that there will be heavy traffic flow on the roads around the DPR/MPR RI Building area,” he said.
“Drivers are advised to always follow the instructions and directions of officers in the field for the sake of our safety and smooth running,” he added.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
