“GSW asked for a sum of money from the Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and other officials, both directly and through the intermediary of Brother YOG (Dwi Yoga Ambal) as ADC (Regent’s aide), with a total request of around IDR 5 billion,” said KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu in a press conference at the KPK’s Red and White building, Saturday (11/4/2026).
Asep said there were at least 16 service heads within the Tulungagung Regency Government who were asked for an allowance. The amount requested is from IDR 15 million to IDR 2.8 billion.
Dwi Yoga, as Gatut’s aide, requested the ration money from the department heads. Dwi Yoga was assisted by Sugeng who is also the regent’s aide.
“From the total request from GSW to OPDs which was at least IDR 5 billion, the actual money received by GSW was approximately IDR 2.7 billion,” he said.
The Regent of Gatut was named a suspect along with Dwi Yoga Ambal as ADC or adjutant to the regent. The Gatut Regent was immediately detained for the first 20 days.
“The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will then detain the suspects for the first 20 days from 11-30 April 2026. The detention will be carried out at the State Detention Center (Rutan) of the KPK Red and White Building Branch,” explained Asep.
Gatut is also suspected of arranging vendors to procure medical equipment at RSUD, by entrusting vendors to be won. Apart from that, it is also suspected that he made arrangements so that his partner would be the winner in the procurement of cleaning and security services.
Due to their actions, the suspects are suspected of having committed criminal acts of corruption as referred to in Article 12 letter e or Article 12B of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption Jo.
