The Vice President of the United States (US), JD Vance, who is scheduled to lead the US delegation in peace negotiations with Iran in Pakistan, is reportedly still in Washington. JD Vance was still in Washington Tuesday afternoon local time.
Reported by AFP, Wednesday (22/4/2026), this information was conveyed by the White House. Vance is said to be following the internal meeting agenda.
“Additional policy meetings are underway at the White House in which the vice president will participate,” an official said in a brief statement sent to AFP shortly after 1700 GMT.
However, the official did not provide further details on the content or purpose of the meeting. On the other hand, Vance’s departure schedule for Pakistan was in the spotlight due to conflicting information.
Based on the latest reports, his departure was previously scheduled to take place on Tuesday morning. Important negotiations with Iran will be held in the near future.
Previously, Pakistani mediators said they had not received an official response from Iran regarding participation in the second round of talks with the United States. Islamabad’s Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, said that until now his party was still waiting for confirmation from Iran.
“An official response from the Iranian side regarding confirmation of the delegation to attend the Islamabad Peace Talks is still awaited,” wrote Tarar via his X account, reported by AFP, Tuesday (21/4/2026).
He said this decision was very important, considering that the agreed ceasefire would end in a few hours. Tarar said that Iran’s decision would determine the continuation of the diplomatic process, especially before the end of the two-week ceasefire between the conflicting parties.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
