FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Efforts to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reveal the complete alleged corruption of road projects in North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra), continue to be intensified.
The proof, in the last two days, the interfaith agency conducted a number of searching both in the PUPR Office, official homes, to private homes.
One of them is a search of the private home of the North Sumatra Province PUPR Head of PUPR, Typhoon Obaja Putra Ginting.
The search effort was of course to gather additional evidence in uncovering the practice of rasuah in the development project at the North Sumatra Province PUPR Office and a road preservation project in the North Sumatra Regional Acting 1.
“Today the KPK team conducted a search related to the alleged TPK related to the construction of projects at the North Sumatra Provincial PUPR Office and also road preservation projects in the North Sumatra Regional Acting 1,” said KPK spokesman, Budi Prasetyo, when confirmed, Wednesday (2/7).
From the search of the search at the residence of Typhoon Ginting’s house, which has now been a suspect, the KPK said he had succeeded in confiscating Rp2.8 billion. Not only billions, KPK investigators even confiscated two units of firearms.
“In the search, the team secured a sum of money worth around Rp2.8 billion, and also secured two firearms which of course would later be coordinated by the KPK with the police,” explained Budi.
The day before, the KPK had also conducted a search at the North Sumatra Province PUPR Office and confiscated a number of important documents. One that was searched was Typhoon Ginting’s office.
