FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Social media activist, Herwin Sudikta, has openly criticized the National Police after the circulation of a video of the Advisor to the National Police Chief, Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Aryanto Sutadi, who was allegedly present at a forum containing Jokowi supporters.
The video immediately attracted public attention because Aryanto has been known to be quite vocal in pushing for the naming of Roy Suryo and colleagues as a suspect in the alleged certificate case.
“How can the public believe that the National Police will be neutral regarding Jokowi’s fake diploma case if the National Police Chief’s advisor has already jumped to conclusions first?” said Herwin to dawn.co.id, Friday (14/11/2025).
Herwin said that Aryanto’s involvement in the forum added to the long list of public questions regarding the neutrality of the National Police.
Especially in handling sensitive cases involving national figures.
He then mentioned a video that had previously circulated showing Aryanto attending a Jokowi volunteer forum.
“Not to mention that yesterday a video circulated of him appearing at the termul forum held by Jokowi volunteers,” he said.
According to Herwin, this situation has increasingly given rise to allegations of partiality.
“What model of neutrality is this? Neutral but leaning to one side?” he stressed.
Herwin said, as advisor to the National Police Chief, Aryanto should keep his distance from activities that have the potential to give rise to conflicts of interest or perceptions of partiality.
Moreover, the cases he commented on have now received national attention.
Previously, the name of the National Police Chief’s advisor, Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Aryanto Sutadi, became a target for netizens after a video circulated showing him at an activity suspected to be a meeting of a group supporting the 7th President, Jokowi.
