FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – ‘Father’s Movement to deliver children on the first day of the school’ was officially published by the Minister of Population and Family Development or the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Ministry ofukbangga/BKKBN).
The rules set since July 10, 2025 are now making a public uproar. In fact, the famous Indonesian writer, Tere Liye, also highlighted this.
Through uploads on his personal Facebook account, the writer who has given birth to many best seller novels criticizes the rules.
“In Indonesia, the priority that you overcome is: Judol, Loan, Drugs, Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism, Quality of Education, Health Access, Employment, Decent Salary, Clean Water, et al,” Tere Liye wrote, starting his review, quoted on Tuesday (7/15/2025).

As additional information, the ratification of ‘Father’s Movement to take children to school’ is contained in a circular (Ministry ofukbangga/BKKBN) number 7 of 2025 about the father’s movement to take the child on the first day of school. The rule aims to encourage more effective childcare.
