Sudirman Said: Polri reform cannot be postponed anymore, now or never!

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said talked about the National Police reform.

Through tweeting on his personal social media account, Sudirman Said said the National Police reform was a historical necessity.

“𝗞𝗘𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗝𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗛 … in every age, there are things that cannot be resisted, cannot be engineered, cannot be prevented, let alone hidden,” he wrote on Thursday (2/10/2025).

He revealed Dr. Sukidi about reform in the body of the National Police is a must be considered good.

Important notes according to him, if this is ignored or even this reform is not done, this big impact will appear in the future.

“I agree with the view of Dr. Sukidi, the reform of the Indonesian Police is a must,” he said.

“If it is not done, not only the police institution will gain mudharat, but also all the people and their lives,” he explained.

Furthermore, Sudirman firmly reforms indeed requires refreshment of leadership and this needs to be done.

He firmly mentioned that the reform of the National Police had to be done immediately and could not be postponed anymore.
