FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The steps taken by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, to provide rehabilitation and restore the good names of two teachers in North Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, namely Rasnal and Abdul Muis Muharram, have received widespread appreciation from the public and observers.
This policy is seen as a concrete step in upholding justice and humanity, as well as restoring the rights of teaching staff who were criminalized.
Public policy and national politics observer, Nasky Putra Tandjung, assessed that President Prabowo’s decision was in line with the constitutional mandate and Pancasila values.
He emphasized that the rehabilitation of the two teachers was not just a legal decision, but a form of moral commitment to uphold social justice for all Indonesian people.
“We give our highest appreciation to President Prabowo Subianto who has used the state’s rehabilitation rights to restore the honor, dignity and employment rights of two teachers from North Luwu who were criminalized for helping honorary staff,” Nasky told reporters, Thursday (13/11/2025).
The founder of the Nasky Millennial Center called President Prabowo’s policy a moral symbol of upholding justice and humanity above all else.
“President Prabowo’s decision is clear evidence of leadership that upholds moral, humanitarian and justice values. This is not just about restoring two individuals, but strengthening the spirit of justice for all teaching staff in Indonesia,” he said.
Nasky added that this decision reflects the mandate of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution which emphasizes the state’s objectives: to protect the entire Indonesian nation, promote general welfare, make the nation’s life intelligent, and uphold social justice.
