Prabowo-Gibran Government Values ​​Observer Begins to Fix Public Communication Problems

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Political communication analyst Hendri Satrio (Hensa) assesses that within one year of the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the government has begun to improve public communication problems which were previously the main homework.

According to Hensa, steps such as the formation of the Government Communications Agency (BKP), the appointment of Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi as one of the presidential spokespeople, as well as the involvement of Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in conveying government programs, show that there is awareness and efforts to improve communication in government circles.

“The communication problems that Pak Prabowo admitted were homework are starting to be fixed. There are improvements at the PCO which is now the Government Communications Agency. Then there was the appointment of Mas Pras as one of the presidential spokespeople, this proves that Prabowo is aware of his priority problems and is starting to improve,” Hensa told reporters.

However, Hensa emphasized that the real results of these communication improvements have not yet been seen as significant. He said that although optimism was starting to build through various positive speeches and narratives, concrete achievements in the field still needed time to be proven.

“Many people said that when they heard Mr. Purbaya’s speech, it seemed as if next month we could all become rich. This creates optimism, but we can see that this is only the first year and the results don’t look very good,” he said.

Hensa also highlighted the level of public satisfaction with the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran government, which he considered still varied. He compared it with the beginning of the leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), who had a high level of public favorability in the first year, which helped increase public satisfaction.
