FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Secretary General (Secretary General) of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto was finally able to breathe free air thanks to the amnesty he got from President Prabowo Subianto. The Presidential Decree (Keppres) related to the amnesty was issued by Prabowo.
Around 21.25, convicted bribery cases against KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan who had previously been sentenced to 3.5 years in prison out of the Detention Center. A smile broke out with joy and a feeling of relief emanating clearly from Hasto’s face.
Out of the detention center, Hasto, wrapped in a red shirt and a black jacket, seemed to wave his hand towards the media crew who had been waiting for him. Do not forget he smiled.
No longer visible handcuffs who tied his hand. Also no longer wearing an orange vest typical of prisoners of corruption cases.
It is known, Hasto Kristiyanto was proven to be involved in bribing the KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan and sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. However, the panel of judges decided that Hasto was not proven to have obstructed an investigation conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Thanks to the amnesty issued by President Prabowo, Hasto was released from detention.
Previously at a press conference at the Indonesian Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday night, Minister of Law (Menkum), Supratman Andi Agtas, stated names such as Hasto Kristiyanto and Thomas Lembong, including in the list of recipients of the Legal Mention proposed by the Ministry of Public Relations to President Prabowo.
He asserted, this process has gone through stages of verification and strict public testing.
