Official List of Caketum, Boni Hargens Triffs the Contribution of ILUNI UI to Democracy

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA-Bonifasius Hargens, or better known as Boni Hargens officially registered as a candidate for the Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) for 2025-2028 period at the University of Indonesia (UI) Building, Salemba, Central Jakarta, on Monday (7/14/2025). Boni handed over various registration documents and was received by the UI Ketum Election Committee.

Boni Hargens admitted, if elected as Ketum, he was committed to making Iluni UI as a forum for the gathering of quality talents which became the laboratory of ideas to strengthen democracy and development.

“I registered myself as a candidate for the General Chair of ILUNI UI. Basically, civil society groups such as ILUNI UI are an important basis in democracy, I see the role of ILUNI UI large to become a catalyst for Indonesian change,” said Boni Hargens after registering as a caketum of ILUNI UI 2025-2028.

Boni Hargens said, to the internal Iluni UI, he would unite all the power and great talents of UI alumni to empower and strengthen each other. If the internal Iluni UI is strong, then Boni Hargens is optimistic, ILUNI UI will make a major contribution to the nation and state.

“We hope that if we can build ILUNI as a collection of talents that will contribute to Indonesia. Iluni hopes are an example of civil society that sustains democracy for the progress of the nation. This is the basis of my vision and mission,” he said.

“If you are elected, the program is to have a study center where ILUNI becomes a laboratory of ideas that can be used by the government for the context of development. This can be an input for policy makers. We want to unite alumni, great talents to empower each other to strengthen ILUNI,” concluded Boni Hargens added.
