While Purwanto S Abdullah, was a young middle judge in the Central Jakarta District Court Class 1A.
He had served in the South Sulawesi region. Namely in the Palopo District Court and the Sungguminasa District Court.
Then there is Judge Alfis Setyawan. He replaced Ali Muhtarom in the middle of the legal process.
This was because Ali was caught in a bribery case related to a loose decision in the CPO corruption case.
Reported earlier, the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court, read the verdict against the former Minister of Trade (Mendag), Thomas Trikasih Lembong alias Tom Lembong.
During the verdict hearing, Haskim said Tom Lembong was guilty of corruption in importing sugar which harmed state finances of Rp578 billion, so he was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison.
