Latest News: Secretary General of DPD Appoints Primary High Leadership of DPD RI, Sends Message to Maintain Integrity

Secretary General of DPD RI Mohammad Iqbal inaugurated a number of high-ranking primary and functional leaders of DPD RI. Iqbal reminded the appointed officials to maintain professionalism and integrity.
“First of all, I congratulate the main high-ranking officials and functional officials who have been appointed and inaugurated today,” said Iqbal in his statement to journalists, Saturday (7/2/2026).
Iqbal reminded that management of the state civil apparatus must be carried out based on a merit system as regulated in statutory regulations. According to him, filling positions should not be based on likes and dislikes, but on measurable competence and performance.
“Placing the right figure in the right position is not based on intuition or proximity, but rather the result of objectively measuring potential,” he said.

He emphasized that all officials have the same opportunity to develop as long as they show the best performance. He even stated that he would not hesitate to carry out an evaluation if at a certain time professionalism was not visible.
“If you don’t show professionalism in three months, of course you will be evaluated. But I am sure that all those appointed today have gone through an objective process,” he said.
Apart from highlighting performance aspects, Iqbal reminded the importance of cooperation and ethics in organizations. According to him, intelligence alone is not enough without the ability to work in a team.
“Organizations don’t just need smart people, but people who can work together, respect other people, and maintain trust,” he said.
Iqbal also appreciated a number of officials for their contributions and performance achievements so far, including in financial management and achieving budget performance indicators. Iqbal assesses that this achievement is the result of consistent discipline and focus.

Closing his remarks, Iqbal advised all newly appointed officials to adapt immediately, understand their duties, and maintain loyalty and integrity. Iqbal asked that the task transfer process be carried out properly so as not to disrupt the organization’s performance.
“Do your best, leave the results to God. Do the best, let God do the rest,” said Iqbal.
The high ranking pratama leaders who were appointed included Hartawan as Head of the Information Systems and Documentation Bureau, Sanerif S Hutagaol as Head of the Center for Planning and Legal Policy Studies, Empi Muslion as Head of the Leadership Secretariat Bureau, Zulfikar Saifuddin as Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau, and Yulia Indrianingtyas as Head of the First Trial Bureau.
