A leopard was caught in a snare or trap allegedly set by pig hunters in the Gunung Mas area, Puncak, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency. The adult leopard was evacuated by Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) officers and observed before being released into its habitat.
“Yes, so he (the leopard) got hit by a pig trap, a sling for a pig trap. We don’t know who set it yet. Usually hunters like to use hunting dogs. It’s also possible or suspected that the food in the forest has run out, so he went down,” said West Java BKSDA forestry police member Dani Hamdani, Friday (3/4/2026).
“Earlier we had been evacuated. Our SOP has a medical team, there was one from Safari Park (TSI), there was a doctor too. We can’t just use anesthetics carelessly, because we have to adjust the weight (of the tutu), the dose can’t be more,” he added.
Dani said that residents found the leopard caught in a pig trap in Tugu Selatan Village, Cisarua District, at around 08.30 WIB. Currently, the leopard has been evacuated and is being cared for at a conservation institution before being released.
“(The leopard) was taken to LK, a conservation institution at the safari park. We will do treatment for it, maybe a day or two. If its condition is good, we will release it back into its habitat,” said Dani.
As previously reported, residents of Gunung Mas Village, Tugu Selatan Village, Bogor Regency, reported that a leopard was entangled near a residential area. Reporting from detikJabar, Friday (3/4), the location of the discovery was not far from Bulut GOR.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
