Latest Entertainment: Diding Boneng hopes to be able to sleep well and have a home again

Senior actor Diding Boneng’s house collapsed. This century-old house has existed since before Diding Boneng was born.
The building was passed down from generation to generation from grandparents to parents. Now, Diding Boneng and his children live in the house.
“Talking about how many years old this house is, I think it’s older than me. The age of this house, it’s older than me. I’m 75 now, so this house can be more or less 100 times old. Because my father was young here. And this is from my grandfather, from grandfather, grandmother, all the way to father,” said Diding Boneng when met at the location of his house, Wednesday (31/12/2025).

He explained that the house had become a witness to his family’s life journey. Diding said that in almost 100 years of existence, the house had never undergone major renovations.
“Imagine a house for 100 years and it has never been renovated for 100 years, never. Mostly paint it, I want to paint it for Eid, that’s all, nothing else,” he said.
Before it collapsed, the house was inhabited by nine adult members of the family. Diding Boneng is happy to be able to live with his family.

After this incident, Diding and his family were forced to flee. He admitted that he slept at the RW office for two nights until finally staying at a friend’s house.

Now, Diding Boneng only hopes to have a house again so he can live properly with his family.
“My hope is that I can have a house again. But I don’t know where it will come from, that’s why friends, help me, what do you feel…, friends or sympathize with me, please help me. Because the main hope for me is to have a house again, to be able to sleep again in my own house,” said Diding Boneng and his hope.
