Latest Entertainment: Adly Fairuz Called Using ‘General’ to Convince Victims of Alleged Fraud

Actor Adly Fairuz was sued civilly for almost IDR 5 billion at the South Jakarta District Court for his alleged involvement in alleged fraud in entering the Police Academy (Akpol). The plaintiff’s attorney revealed how Adly Fairuz convinced the victim of the alleged fraud.
The plaintiff’s attorney, Farly Lumopa, revealed the chronology of when his client, Abdul Hadi, felt cheated after depositing Rp. 3.65 billion so that his children could pass the Police Academy selection in 2023 and 2024.
“Initially, it was said that the money had been handed over to General Ahmad. I was surprised and investigated who General Ahmad was. Because as a member of the extended Polri family, I know many people in that area, but the name is foreign,” said Farly Lumopa when met in the Panglima Polim area, South Jakarta, Friday (9/1/2026).

His curiosity was answered when he asked to meet General Ahmad directly. The meeting was held at a shopping center in South Jakarta.
“As soon as I met him, I asked the intermediary (Agung Wahyono), ‘Where is General Ahmad?’ It turns out that Adly Fairuz was appointed. ‘Well, this is an artist, where’s the general?’. “It turns out that Ahmad is taken from his full name, Ahmad Adly Fairuz,” explained Farly Lumopa.
It is suspected that the use of the word ‘Jendereal’ was deliberately used to convince the victim that Adly Fairuz had access to police institutions. In addition, he is said to have claimed to have a kinship with one of the highest former officials in Indonesia.
Because of this, victims increasingly believe and do not hesitate to pour out billions of rupiah in cash for children to enter the Police Academy.
Even though there was a peace agreement before a notary to return the money with an installment scheme of IDR 500 million per month, Angbeen Rishi’s ex-husband is said to have only paid once and then disappeared without a word.
“Only pay once at the beginning of 2025, after that it’s gone. PHP continues, bringing up the name of religion when charged, but there is no good faith,” stressed Farly Lumopa.
This case began in early 2023 when Abdul Hadi, through an intermediary named Agung Wahyono, was introduced to Adly Fairuz. It is claimed that Adly Fairuz could help get Abdul Hadi’s son into the Police Academy.

The victim deposited a total of IDR 3.65 billion. After failing twice in 2023 and 2024, Adly Fairuz signed a notarial deed in 2025 to return the funds.
However, because he was only paid IDR 500 million and the rest was in arrears, Abdul Hadi filed a civil lawsuit for default of almost IDR 5 billion at the South Jakarta District Court in January 2026.
Apart from civil matters, this case was also reported criminally to the East Jakarta Metro Police on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement.
However, Adly Fairuz has not yet responded to the alleged fraud that has dragged his name. detikcom also tried to contact Adly Fairuz, but there has been no response.
