FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Working meetings and hearing meetings between the House of Representatives Commission VI and the Minister of BUMN RI and BPI and Antara, seem to be quite attracting the attention of the public.
The meeting which was held at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/23) was one of them alluded to the news that the government would impose a tax rate on an invitation envelope at a wedding reception.
The news about the government’s plan to impose taxes on the wedding invitation envelope was revealed by a member of the House of Representatives Commission VI from the PDI -P Faction, Mufti Anam.
The plan to impose taxes on the invitation envelope was revealed when the mufti anam highlighted the application of taxes in the sector of a number of community business.
Not surprisingly, Mufti Anam assessed that government policies that continue to target the community are considered very tragic. Especially if the invitation envelope is actually subject to taxes by the government.
“We hear that in the near future people who get an envelope in the invitation and celebration will be asked for taxes by the government. Now this is tragic, so this makes our people today quite scream,” said Mufti.
Mufti Anaml first highlighted the complaints of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) who were racking their brains to increase state revenue. That was done because the commonly received state revenue from dividends was officially transferred to the Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI and Antara).
“Whereas the transfer of dividend and the impact is very clear. Today the country loses income, now the Ministry of Finance today must rack the brain how to patch the deficit. What is then the birth of policies that make our people sweat cold,” Mufti said at a meeting.
