FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Indonesian national team midfielder Thom Haye apparently has an interesting story when dealing with Japan.
In his personal podcast, The Haye Way, Thom revealed the story behind his decision to choose a long -sleeved jersey.
In the match against Japan, Thom Haye became the only player who wore a long-sleeved jersey.
However, before the game began initially Haye had a conversation with Romeny about this.
“So the night before the match, we practiced at the stadium and the weather was still quite hot. I told Ole, ‘Come on, it’s time’ (use long sleeves),” said Thom Haye.
It’s just that ahead of the match, Ole Romeny canceled the plan.
But the plan changed. Towards kick-off, it rained, and Thom remained with his decision.
The reason Romeny was canceled using a long -sleeved jersey because he claimed he could not stand the weather so hot.
“He said it was too hot when heating, so canceled. I was a little disappointed, but that was normal. The important thing is to keep the spirit when playing,” said Haye.
The 30 -year -old player revealed interesting things about the use of long -sleeved jersey for players who competed.
Where, players must submit special requests to the national team kitman in advance.
