FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Writer Tere Liye highlights the donation of IDR 5.7 billion from the judge accused in the bribery case who was sentenced after the cooking oil (migor) case, Djuyamto. It is known that the donation was to build the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Building.
“This case is really sad. It’s embarrassing,” wrote Tere Liye, quoted from a post on her social media account, Friday (10/10/2025).
Tere Liye explained that this case started when cooking oil was scarce. But there are companies that actually get facilities for exporting.
“How is that possible? It became a case; So, in order not to be punished, these companies bribed the judge who heard the case, so that he would go free. One of the judges was this,” he explained.
According to him, the oil export drama is no joke. Because there is a high-profile battle in court.
“Flying your tongue. Looking for justifications. Bribing the judge. And who knows who else will get splashed, because the export value is in the trillions. If it becomes a legal film, it could be really exciting,” he said.
For him, what is sad is, in this series of events, when the money starts flowing heavily to law enforcement, it will be 2024. The judge gave the money to build the NU building.
“It’s not a transfer to give it away, it’s using a suitcase. Try to make sense of logic. Usually when people donate billions of money, they transfer it. This actually uses a suitcase,” he said.
“Two handovers, a total of more than 5 billion. Wow, this judge is really good. And this judge is indeed the head of land acquisition and building construction,” he continued.
In satire, he said it was a form of dedication to NU. Very proud.
