Gibran campus rankings are far below UNPAM, especially UI-UGM, Legal Experts: Not Always Outside Better

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Legal Expert for Procurement of Goods and Services, Nandang Sutisna also commented on the polemic of the Vice President’s Education History (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Nandang Sutisna highlighted the campus matter that was once occupied by Vice President Gibran to gain knowledge.

Through uploads on his threads account, he explained the campus rankings where Gibran collected first.

From the information circulating, Gibran used to study in two places at once.

Namely Diploma from the Singapore Management Development Institute (MDIS) in 2010, with the BSC (S1) degree from the University of Bradford Mitra MDIS.

This is then highlighted by Nandang by describing the two campus rankings.

Based on webometric data, it displays the level of MDI that almost touches the 9000 world level.

Nandang said that for the class of campuses in Indonesia such as Unpam is much better ranked 5000.

“The Gibran MDIS campus ranked almost 9000 in the world and even far below the 5000 unpam,” he wrote quoted Monday (6/10/2025).

Then for the University of Bradford based on the data sitting in 500s.

This is then not much better than famous campuses in Indonesia. Like UI, UGM to ITB.

“Even the University of Bradford itself is a matter of 500s far below UI, UGM and ITB which are 200,” he explained.

He also concluded that studying abroad was not better as long as the campuses in Indonesia.

“So not always the outside campus is better than the local campus,” he explained.
