BRI officially adopted Dhanny as Corporate Secretary

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI officially appointed Dhanny as Corporate Secretary (Corsec) starting Monday (1/9/2025). Dhanny replaced Agustya Hendy Bernadi who previously served the position.

As a figure who has a long track record in the banking industry, Dhanny’s career journey in BRI has gone through various strategic positions, both in retail and corporate business lines.

Dhanny has shown leadership in various fields, including business development, operations, risk management, and compliance, both in the Singapore and Indonesia financial sector. Where, his career began as a relationship manager at the BRI Head Office (AGRI Business) in 2010-2012, continued as Marketing Manager at BRI Branch Cut Mutia (2012-2014).

The man born in Padang won an economic degree of economics from Andalas University and also had the opportunity to take part in the BRI Postgraduate Scholarship program with the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Birmingham England in 2016-2018.

Upon returning to his homeland, he was believed to hold a mandate as a department head syndicated solution at the BRI head office (2019-2021),

His career continued to climb, when he was placed in the corporate business segment as a business department head/deputy general manager of BRI Singapore Branch to lead the development of corporate banking portfolios, including trade finance and treasury.

Then, since 2024, Dhanny’s global experience was honed when he was trusted to serve as General Manager of BRI Singapore Branch. As the leader of BRI Singapore Branch, Dhanny manages the overall branch operations as well as responsible for developing business across the Southeast Asia region, the Middle East, to the Indian Sub-Sub-Division.
