BMKG: South Sulawesi weather on June 9 is cloudy, light rain lurking several regions

FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – The weather in the South Sulawesi region and its surroundings on Monday, June 9, 2025, is expected to be dominated by cloudy bright conditions in the morning. Although it looks bright, people are advised to remain vigilant because the potential for rain is expected to appear in the day to night in several areas.

During the afternoon and evening, the sky is mostly cloudy. However, light rain is expected to fall in Enrekang, East Luwu, Luwu, Pinrang, Sidrap, Tana Toraja, and North Toraja. Meanwhile, the North Luwu region has the potential to experience rain with moderate intensity.

Entering the night, the condition of the sky remains cloudy. Light rain is predicted to occur in Tana Toraja, North Toraja, Pinrang, Wajo, Bone, and Soppeng. While the rain is still possible in Luwu and North Luwu.

At dawn, the weather is relatively stable even though it remains cloudy. However, light rain still has the potential to flush several areas such as Bone, Bulukumba, North Luwu, Luwu, Sinjai, Soppeng, and Wajo.

The air temperature on that day is estimated to be in the range of 18 to 34 degrees Celsius, with air humidity reaching between 75 to 100 percent. The wind blows from north to southeast with speeds between 8 to 35 kilometers per hour.
