FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Grief again enveloped the dangdut music industry in the country. One of the senior artists, Yunita Ababiel died, Sunday (7/13).
The news of the death of the singer with the name of the birth of Frida Kartika Sriwahyuni on January 15, 1964, began to circulate through chain messages both through WhatsApp and other social media channels.
“Innalillahi Wainnailaihi Rojiun, has returned to Rahmatullah., Senior Pedangdut Yunita Ababil,” so the contents of the message circulated among the media crew.
The singer who was born in Bandung, West Java, 61 years ago, reportedly exhaled his last breath in the Depok area, West Java, at 01.00 WIB, early this morning.
“Died at his residence, Depok area,” added the circulating information.
Yunita Ababiel is the fourth child of nine siblings. The first album forgive me, dear, is the beginning of the dangdut singer’s career in the entertainment world of the country.
This album was released in 1979 this album still uses the name Sriwahyuni. Yunita Ababiel during her music career was known to have a number of nicknames. For example, Sjaa Jujun N, Yuyun Prophetela, and Yunita Irani.
The deceased died at the age of 60 years after struggling with breast cancer. The news was known from the upload of his professional colleagues, @joyhatta, seen Yunita preparing to undergo surgery.
