FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Joko Widodo (Jokowi) diploma case at Polda Metro Jaya has now reached the conclusion of the suspect, Friday (7/11/2025).

Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, said that his party had named 8 suspects in this case. This includes several parties who have been in the midst of this case, such as Roy Suryo, Eggi Sudjana, and Doctor Tifa.

According to Asep Edi, the determination of the suspect in this case was carried out based on sufficient and adequate evidence. He stated that the suspects were suspected of having committed defamation, slander and manipulated electronic data on behalf of Jokowi. So Jokowi made a report to Polda Metro Jaya and the report was immediately followed up through a series of inquiries and investigations.

“Polda Metro Jaya named 8 suspects in the defamation, slander and manipulation of electronic data reported by Engineer Jokowi,” he told the media crew.

In a press statement delivered directly in Jakarta, Asep Edi said that the suspects in this case were divided into 2 clusters.

Namely the first cluster with suspects with the initials ES, KTR, MRF, RE, and DHL. The initials refer to names such as ⁠Eggi Sudjana, Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Damai Hari Lubis, Rustam Effendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.

“We have appointed 3 people in the second cluster, including those on behalf of RS, RHS and TT,” explained Asep Edi.

The three initials refer to Roy Suryo, ⁠Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, and ⁠Doctor Tifauziah Tyassuma or Doctor Tifa. Asep Edi stated that the suspects were suspected of spreading false accusations and manipulating diploma documents using unscientific methods, and even tended to mislead the public.
