FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Although the Palace has apologized, former BUMN Secretary, Muhammad Said Didu, asked President Prabowo Subianto to evaluate the MBG program.
As is known, lately the MBG program continues to be hit by slanted news with the large number of students who are poisoned.
“Mr. President Prabowo, once again please consider the evaluation of this MBG program,” said Said Didu at X @MSAID_DIDU (9/20/2025).
The reason is that the man born in Pinrang Regency is quite reasonable, he considers that the president’s excellent program swallowed too much budget.
“Because the budget is very large and free eating is not the real need for all the people,” he said.
Not only that, said Said Didu, he also stressed that MBG was very vulnerable to be sabotaged by certain parties who wanted to benefit.
“It could be that the concentration is sabotage, prone to corruption,” he said.
Previously, the MBG program was actually in line with the vision of Indonesia 2045 which targeted the birth of a golden generation that was able to bring Indonesia into the ranks of developed countries.
But in its implementation there are still many obstacles even ending in disaster.
Poisoning occurs in various regions after eating MBG food. The latest case occurred in Banggai Islands Regency, Central Sulawesi.
Reportedly, as many as 157 students from elementary, junior high, high school and vocational schools in the Salakan City area, experienced mass poisoning after consuming free nutritious food (MBG) on Wednesday (9/17/2025).
Students were rushed to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Trikora Salakan with the main complaints in the form of nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, itching, and stomach cramps.
