FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka seems to have an important task to solve a number of problems in the Land of Papua.
President Prabowo Subianto reportedly had given this special task to Gibran. A number of problems referred to from physical development to human rights problems.
Responding to Prabowo’s important assignment to Gibran to take care of Papua, member of the House of Representatives Commission II, Deddy Yevri Sitorus positively welcomed the steps that assigned the Vice President to resolve problems at the Cenderawasih earth.
“It is very good that it shows the concern of Pak Prabowo to accelerate the development of Papua,” said the Legislator of the PDI -P Faction was met at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/7).
Deddy said Gibran was the son of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who was recorded often visiting Papua.
What’s more, he said, many roads were made in Papua during Jokowi. Including, the spread of mining permits that were published. From there, he felt that Gibran, who was the status of Jokowi’s son, would be able to take care of Papua to create justice.
“The most appropriate is Gibran, that’s right. Hopefully he is long there, don’t just come away, come away,” continued Deddy.
He also supported Gibran to have an office in Papua to solve all the problems of the people there. It’s just that, Deddy suggested that Gibran should not return to Jakarta to report to Prabowo when assigned to take care of Papua.
“Yes, if necessary only once a month the president’s report comes like that, rather than for skincare, yes, better take care of Papua, he will be remembered well,” said the legislator of the North Kalimantan electoral district.
