The discourse on transferring PPPK to civil servants has surfaced, the DPR is ready to discuss the ASN Bill if the government wants

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The discourse of transferring the status of Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) to Civil Servants (PNS) continues to emerge. Ready to be discussed in the Draft Law (RUU) on State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

This was stated by Member of Commission II DPR RI Dede Yusuf. He said that his party could discuss this discourse.

Moreover, he said, discussions on the ASN Bill were ongoing. So that the discourse can be realized, if it has been discussed thoroughly.

“We are ready to discuss the transfer of PPPK to civil servants in the ASN Bill which is currently underway,” said Dede Yusuf in a YouTube broadcast by the DPR RI monitored on Saturday (25/10).

Dede Yusuf’s statement was delivered at the Public Hearing Meeting (RDPU). Together with IPN and F-PPPK Bogor district.

At this RDPU, various problems faced by PPPK were presented. Especially regarding legal protection, career certainty, work comfort.

Then, the aspiration is for Commission II of the DPR RI to include articles on transitioning PPPK to civil servants without tests and granting pension rights.

Responding to this, Dede Yusuf said it could be done. As long as the government is willing to discuss it with the DPR.

“The DPR cannot discuss it alone, it must also work together with the government,” he explained.

Responding to this, the Secretary General of the Forum for Government Employees with Work Agreements (F-PPPK) for Bogor district, Deni Sukmajaya, appreciated Commission II of the DPR RI.
