Red and White Cooperative Officially Operates in Makassar, Munafri: Red and White Cooperatives Become Citizen Empowerment Machines

FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – The Makassar City Government, continues to make efforts to support the strengthening of the people’s economy at the village level, in line with the program of President Prabowo Subianto.

This is a joint commitment, so that the Mayor of Makassar Munafri Arifuddin together with Makassar Deputy Mayor Aliyah Mustika Ilham attended the symbolic handover of the Decree of the Legal Entity of the Red and White Village Cooperative.

This event took place at the Makassar City Hall Office, Tuesday (6/10/2025). This is an important momentum in encouraging cooperative -based community economic empowerment, as well as marks the commitment of the Makassar City Government in presenting strong and sustainable economic institutions in each village.

Makassar Mayor Munafri Arifuddin emphasized the importance of the commitment and integrity of the management in running the Red and White Cooperative in all Kelurahan Makassar City.

“The presence of the Red and White Cooperative in 153 Kelurahan, a form of a concrete form of the support of the Makassar City Government in carrying out the Pak President Prabowo Subianto for the interests of the people,” this was conveyed, Munafri in the symbolic handover of the Decree of the Red and White Cooperative Legal Entity to the Management and Supervisor of Cooperatives, throughout Makassar City.

The submission of the decree was given directly to the management and supervisor of the Red and White Cooperative in Makassar City as a form of legality and formal strengthening of cooperative institutions.

Accompanied by Deputy Mayor Aliyah Mustika Ilham, Munafri said that the formation of this cooperative was part of the noble ideals of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, in strengthening the economy of the people through cooperatives throughout Indonesia.
