Latest News: Bareskrim Dismantles Malaysia-RI Network Drug Case, 14 Kg of Crystal Meth Confiscated

Bareskrim Polri uncovered a case of trafficking methamphetamine from the Malaysian-Indonesian network. A total of 14,731 grams (14.7 kilograms) of crystal methamphetamine was confiscated and 3 people were charged as suspects.
This case was uncovered by Subdit IV Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri led by Commissioner Handik Zusen, the NIC Task Force Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri in collaboration with Customs and Excise Regional Office Pekanbaru Riau. The disclosure of this case of illicit goods was carried out in Riau, Monday (9/2).

The Directorate of Narcotics, Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, said that 3 people had been named as suspects in this drug trafficking case. The three are Piki Ramadani (27), Gilang Ramadhan (20), and Heri Wahyudi.
“Piki and Gilang’s role is as a courier, Heri is a Class IIB Dumai prison inmate, acting as a controller,” said Brigadier General Eko in his statement, Wednesday (11/2/2026).
From the hands of the suspects, the police confiscated a number of pieces of evidence such as 14 packs of suspected crystal methamphetamine in blue jerry cans, cars, motorbikes, cash and cellphones.

“The amount of methamphetamine narcotics seized was 14,731 grams, with a rupiah conversion value of IDR 26,500,000,000 (Twenty billion five hundred million rupiah) and a conversion value of 73,000 lives saved,” said Eko.
